Cased

So after adding some mycelium to my rye grain it spread quite nicely so I now added it to a tray and covered with soil. Then covered with tinfoil and placed in a warm humid spot.

Why do I let the agar sit for days?

Some people may rush and use their agar as soon as it is made but I like waiting four to seven days to see if there is any contamination.

As you can see by this picture there is some contamination at the bottom right of the the dish and this was after four days.

So I will wait another three days to make sure there are no contaminants in any other dish.

Planting

So today was major planting day. Planted the peyote, Peruvian torch cactus, poppies and the tobacco.
Peyote and torch cactus are in an humid environment while the others are on the window sill.

Agar

Made agar today to add the mycelium when I start the new batch.
Now to let it sit for a few days to see if there was any contaminants.
